Description
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing both standardized assessments and clinical observation. Create customized treatment plans that cater to immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives. Deliver focused one-on-one speech therapy aimed at enhancing communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities. Work collaboratively with a team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to develop integrated care plans. Provide educational resources to patients and families to encourage growth and progress outside clinical sessions. Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure a seamless treatment experience. Keep precise and timely records in compliance with applicable state, federal, and institutional requirements. Engage in ongoing education and peer discussions to remain informed about the latest developments in the field. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if still awaiting ASHA certification. Certifications
Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of joining. Skills

Outstanding interpersonal skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams. Ability to modify therapy strategies to meet various cultural and linguistic needs.
