Description
Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric groups using both recognized assessments and keen observational techniques. Craft customized treatment plans that encompass immediate objectives as well as long-term needs involving communication, cognition, or swallowing. Provide individual speech therapy sessions that prioritize communication skills, language development, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing interventions. Engage in collaborative efforts with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, family members, and caretakers to devise cohesive care strategies. Facilitate education for patients and their families which promotes progress in therapy outside the clinical setting. Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure seamless continuity of care during the entire recovery journey. Ensure meticulous documentation that adheres to state, federal, and institutional regulations. Advance your expertise by staying abreast of the latest developments in the field through ongoing education and peer collaboration. Education
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified. Certifications
A valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment. Skills

Outstanding communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Adept at tailoring therapy methods to accommodate various cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
