Position Description: Sleep Tech Collaborate with the Sleep Medicine team to oversee home sleep apnea testing, manage respiratory care coordination, and ensure high-quality patient care within an academic medical center environment. Required Qualifications: Sleep Tech
Bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy or related field OR equivalent combination of education/experience required. Minimum of four years of respiratory and sleep experience required. Respiratory Therapist credentials (CRT or RRT) and licensure in the State of Nebraska required. Registered Polysomnography Technician (RPSGT) by BRPT within one year of hire required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Demonstrated ability to instruct and collaborate with others required. Respiratory Care Practitioner License in Nebraska required. Preferred Qualifications: Sleep Tech
Minimum of two years' experience as a respiratory therapist preferred. Prior HSAT/PSG scoring experience preferred. Previous clinical experience in a sleep lab environment preferred. Experience with equipment utilized in the scope of practice preferred. Experience with quality assurance and policy processes preferred. Computer experience with data management preferred.
