- Provide specialized nursing care to individuals and groups using knowledge from biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences. - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to TCH's model, promoting partnerships between patients, families, and healthcare teams. - Deliver culturally sensitive and age-appropriate care. - Adhere to the American Nursing Association (ANA) code of ethics and comply with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. - Work on the 5S General Surgery unit, a fast-paced, 39-bed unit with all-private rooms. - Care for patients undergoing general surgery, ENT procedures, and medical overflow cases. - Gain experience with a diverse patient population, building a strong foundation in medical-surgical nursing. - Collaborate in a supportive, team-oriented environment suitable for both experienced nurses and new graduates.
