One of Boston's leading investment firms is currently seeking a talented systems engineer for a full time hire to join our IT team that is at the epicenter of a digital transformation. The role will join a team that is responsible for designing, automating, and supporting mission critical hardware, network, cloud, and virtual systems. This calls for an experienced engineer who can look at existing systems and be a thought leader on building out state of the art modern solutions. You will work on an experienced team that has built a great trust with many business units by delivering on time and successful infrastructure solutions.
The successful candidate should have a strong background in virtualization, cloud, and storage solutions. The environment has a large Microsoft Windows presence, but also leverages Linux servers as well. You will automate server deployments, recommend solutions for continued network performance, as well as leading the transformation with modern storage and virtualization upgrades . Skil ls*3-8 plus years of Systems Engineering and/or Systems Administrati on*Systems engineering and administration experience with Windows (AD, servers, Office 365, SCC M)*Virtualization skills w VMware, HyperV, or others on a server lev el*Strong hardware and networking skil ls*Experience with on/off prem cloud technologies ideally Azu re*Experience in storage configuration and roll out w NetApp or Pure Stora ge Great team, tech, and work life balance. Strong comp plan w base salary, bonus, and profit sharing as well as excellent benefit covera ge. This is a full time perm role that is Hybrid in our downtown location. MUST be US CITIZEN or GREENCARD Holder. There is no sponsorship or transfer availa ble.
