Provides and directs speech therapy services to students with IEP's and 504s, including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, completing related documentation and communication. Common programs include dysphagia, language/communication, cognitive retraining, auditory rehabilitation and medication management. In addition to working closely with the MTSS Coordinator to provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support.
Specialized Education
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Certificate of Clinical Competency or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year. Current State Licensure or License eligibility.
Skills & Abilities
MISTAR database. Ability to use an electronic platform for IEP data, progress monitoring, and parent communication. Google Drive. One Drive
Physical Requirement
Able to lift 15 pounds to carry, push, and/or pull items. Hear and speak to exchange information in person or on the telephone. Reach above shoulders to file materials. The position requires the individual to meet multiple demands from several people.
