Craft individualized treatment strategies that encompass both immediate objectives and enduring communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements. Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions centered on language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities. Work in tandem with physical therapists, occupational therapists, medical staff, caregivers, and families to cultivate integrated care approaches. Provide education to patients and their families to facilitate progress beyond clinical visits. Participate in periodic inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring a seamless continuum of care throughout the therapeutic journey. Uphold precise documentation practices that comply with state, federal, and organizational regulations. Enhance professional knowledge through ongoing education and collaborative engagement with colleagues. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required if you are not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications
Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment. Skills
