MRI Technologist – PRN Evening & Weekend Availability Required Location: Round Rock, TX Facility: Baylor Scott & White Health – Round Rock Medical Center Schedule: PRN | Evenings, Weekends, and Flexible Shifts Required Position Overview Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an experienced and patient-focused MRI Technologist to join our Imaging Services team at Round Rock Medical Center. This role requires flexibility to work evenings and/or weekends, supporting a high-volume, fast-paced hospital environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an MRI technologist looking to grow within a leading healthcare system while working with advanced imaging technology and a collaborative care team. What You'll Do
Perform high-quality MRI procedures according to physician orders and established imaging protocols. Ensure accurate patient positioning, image quality, and exam efficiency. Utilize AIDET communication to provide exceptional patient experiences. Prepare patients and equipment while maintaining safety and comfort. Follow strict MRI safety, infection control, and sterile technique standards. Maintain imaging equipment and work areas to meet quality and cleanliness expectations. Collaborate with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal equipment performance. Verify patient history, requisitions, pregnancy screening, and exam documentation. Maintain accurate imaging records in PACS and EMR systems. Assist with inventory management and departmental workflow.

Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI Program
Experience
Minimum 1 year of MRI or relevant imaging experience required Hospital experience preferred
Certifications & Licensure
ARRT (MR) or ARRT (R) required Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
