Job Type: Full-Time (80 hours) Reports To: Radiology Manager/Supervisor ☀️Join Our Team at Garden County Health Services! What You’ll Do: As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a key role in providing high‑quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring every patient feels safe, informed, and cared for. Your responsibilities will include:
Protecting patients (and yourself!) from unnecessary ionizing radiation Monitoring departmental radiation safety practices Producing clear, accurate images through proper positioning and technique Providing excellent patient care and maintaining thorough, confidential records Operating and maintaining radiology equipment Completing patient logs and charge sheets Helping maintain a safe and efficient department environment Scheduling and performing mobile exams
What We’re Looking For: We’d be excited to meet you if you have:
A certificate or diploma from an accredited Radiologic Technology program National ARRT certification and state licensure (if applicable) Current BLS certification At least two years of clinical experience (preferred) Strong communication and people skills The ability to analyze information, solve problems, and make sound clinical judgments
Physical Requirements: To succeed in this role, you should be able to:
Stand for extended periods Safely assist with patient positioning Lift and move equipment as needed Use imaging equipment with accuracy and dexterity
