Closing Date: Until Filled District: ESC of Eastern Ohio POSITION: Transportation Aide - 9 month / 5 hour QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS (include but not limited to the following):Work aboard buses transporting passengers with developmental disabilities. Limited daily hours of work during early morning and late afternoon.
Ability and willingness to be trained and certified in Medication Administration Category 1 as authorized by Ohio Department Of Developmental Disabilities. Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity & contributing to an inclusive working environment. Ability to engage others with understanding & empathy.BUILDING: TransportationSALARY: As Per ScheduleThis position involves working with children and/or adults who have developmental disabilities. In addition to the requirements listed above, the following qualifications shall be considered in evaluating an applicant for possible employment for this position: an applicant's varied work-experience; one's training and/or education; and, one's adaptability to work with children and/or adults with developmental disabilities.
