Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health and medical histories. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and wellness goals. Administer acupuncture treatments using sterile needles in accordance with safety and hygiene standards. Educate patients about the benefits of acupuncture and provide guidance on post-treatment care. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize results. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to offer integrated, holistic care. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records. Stay current with advancements in acupuncture practices and techniques. Offer lifestyle, dietary, and herbal recommendations where appropriate. Ensure ethical practices and a clean, safe treatment environment at all times. Make referrals to other team members as needed for additional treatments or services.
Qualifications :
State License to practice acupuncture. Completion of an accredited acupuncture program. Certification from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Strong understanding of traditional Chinese medicine principles. Knowledge of complementary therapies (e.g., cupping, herbal medicine) is beneficial. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an empathetic approach to patient care. Experience in a clinical setting or private practice is a plus.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
