The float position requires regular travel between assigned locations within the organization's service area. Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines/instructions from providers and NHC practice protocols. Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs. Records physical findings and formulates plan and prognosis based on patient's condition. Discusses cases with providers and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plans. Submits health care plans and goals of individual patients for periodic review and evaluation by providers. Prescribes or recommends drugs or other forms of treatment to patients, such as physical therapy, inhalations therapy, or related therapeutic procedures. Refers patients to providers for consultation or specialized health resources for treatment. Keeps informed and promotes organizational activities and team goals aligned to the NHC mission and vision. Identifies training needs and promotes developmental activities for the team. Performs duties in accordance with the NP Supervisory Agreement. Impacts patient experiences by demonstrating courteous and helpful behavior and a commitment to accuracy. Shares accountability for overall patient health outcomes by working in coordination with care teams. Operates to instill confidence in our care and in our facilities to patients, fellow employees, and other stakeholders.
Education/Experience:
Master's degree in nursing, required. California Nurse Practitioner License in good standing, or Physician Assistant License in good standing required. Registered Nurse License in good standing, required. DEA: Current CA DEA licensure is required and is to be maintained as a condition of employment. BLS: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through an American Heart Association (AHA)-approved source is required upon hire and must be maintained as a condition of employment. Board Certification (ANCC/AANPCB) or board eligible with certification within 12 months of hire, required.
Additional Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
Reliable transportation and flexibility to adjust work location on short notice are required. Mileage will be reimbursed according to organizational policy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including superior composition, typing and proofreading skills. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Knowledgeable about and experience with providing direct care to patients. Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent planning and organizational ability. Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently. Ability to work with highly confidential information in a professional and ethical manner. This position requires coverage at multiple Riverside County clinics.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift/carry 20 lbs/weight. Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Comply with all regulations regarding corporate integrity and security obligations. Report all behavior and/or activity that are unethical, fraudulent, or unlawful.
Pay range: $124,000 - $191,100 per year, depending on experience. (DOE) Compensation Disclosure: The posted salary range reflects the designated pay grade for this position. While this range represents the broader classification of the role, actual compensation will be based on several factors, including but not limited to: the candidate's overall knowledge, skills, and experience, market data and industry benchmarks, internal equity within the organization, budgetary considerations and organizational needs. As a result, placement within the range is not guaranteed, and the full pay grade range may not be utilized.
