Positions patients and adjusts equipment for taking X-rays following established procedures Instructs patients regarding procedures Follows prescribed safety standards in operating all required radiologic equipment Selects length and intensity for radiation exposure by adjusting equipment on individual patient basis Examines radiologic images for properties such as density, contrast, definition, magnification and distortion Insures equipment is in working order. Reports equipment malfunctions to supervisor Processes routine paperwork Maintains patient confidentiality Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations Performs other duties as assigned

Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA approved (2+ years) school and meets the requirements for registry by the ARRT Current Oregon license in diagnostic radiography Current certification with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Healthcare provider level CPR/BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications:
CT experience Experience with an electronic medical record system

The hourly pay for this role will range from $23.89 to $42.69 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
