Performs MRI and CT procedures as ordered achieving a high level of quality and timeliness Escorts patients to a treatment room and assists with dressings as necessary Completes all paperwork necessary to ensure timely delivery of CT services Explains MRI and CT procedures to address patient concerns and questions Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff Completes related paperwork and obtains interpretation by the radiologist Conducts quality control measures to monitor machine performance and reports all malfunctions and/or need for adjustments to the site manager Focuses on customer service and uses courtesy and poise when interacting with patients, staff, and visitors to maintain a professional atmosphere Required to respond to a medical emergency including administering CPR Assists patients with positioning on the exam table and may be required to assist patients to prevent falls
Requirements:
ARRT (MR) and (CT) mandatory 1-2 years magnetic resonance experience preferred Must maintain and meet continuing education requirement as set forth by the the ARRT Required regular travel between ISJ clinic sites depending on patient capacity/volumes and other critical needs Must be able to work independently Reliable transportation CPR/BLS Certified Must be able to read, write, and speak in English
The pay range for this position is $37.00 to $52.00/hr. This position also includes additional float differential pay of 10% of base wage. In accordance with Colorado law, the range provided is Radiology Imaging Associate's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role, and is based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
