Assess patients from pediatric to geriatric groups using standardized evaluations and observational assessments. Create individualized treatment strategies that cater to both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives. Deliver tailored speech therapy sessions that prioritize communication skills, language acquisition, fluency, voice, and swallowing issues. Work alongside physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to forge comprehensive care paths. Educate patients and their families to support ongoing progress beyond therapy sessions. Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure seamless care throughout the patient's recovery. Document patient progress accurately and in a timely fashion, adhering to all state, federal, and organizational standards. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of evolving practices in the field. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized university. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire. Skills

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
