We are seeking a proactive
Network Administrator I
to join our IT team. In this role, you will provide critical desktop support, assist with network infrastructure management, and develop user tutorials. Working directly with the IT Director, you will help prioritize technical tasks and ensure our staff has the hardware and software tools necessary to succeed. Major Tasks & Responsibilities Systems Support:
Assist with the management of Windows Servers, Exchange, SQL Server, and LAN/WAN/VPN connections.
Technical Helpdesk:
Act as the first point of contact for employees; troubleshoot hardware, software, and system issues via phone and helpdesk tickets.
Hardware Deployment:
Install and configure workstations, printers, and peripherals. This includes physical transport and setup of equipment across various sites.
Security & Maintenance:
Implement network protocols, evaluate software patches, and perform system backups to ensure data integrity and stability.
Documentation & Training:
Create and maintain tutorials, help documents, and intranet content. This includes translating complex business applications into easy-to-understand user guides.
Administrative Support:
Provide day-to-day clerical assistance to the IT Director, including data entry, filing, and maintaining organized inventory/storage areas.
Qualifications Education:
Associate degree, vocational certificate, or equivalent supervised experience in a related field.
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in a job-related field or 1 year of higher education with relevant experience.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Windows 10/11, Windows Servers, Firewalls, and LAN/WAN networking.
Clerical Proficiency:
Strong organizational skills with experience in data entry, filing, and professional phone etiquette.
Communication:
Ability to explain technical terms to non-technical users and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
Mobility:
Must possess a valid
California Driver’s License
and personal vehicle liability insurance for travel between sites.
Preferred:
Knowledge of substance abuse
programs/healthcare
environments is a plus.
Physical Requirements Ability to sit at a desk and use standard office equipment for extended periods.
Manual Dexterity:
Ability to perform hardware repairs and installations.
Lifting:
Routinely lift and move items up to 25 lbs, and occasionally up to 70 lbs (with
assistance/equipment).
Ability to move about various facilities to install workstations and peripherals.
