About

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading Tier 1 Contractor delivering large-scale building and projects in North Dublin.
The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.
This role offers strong long-term progression within a well-established commercial team.
Responsibilities Subcontract procurement and account management Preparation of cash flow forecasts and monthly project cost/value reports Budget control and commercial tracking of project performance Measurement and remeasurement of trade packages, identifying quantity discrepancies Preparation of tender enquiry packages in coordination with site and project teams Procurement of subcontractors in line with programme requirements Tender analysis and evaluation of returned submissions (ensuring compliance and accuracy) Value engineering and assessment of alternative materials and methods Liaison with design teams and project management on cost and variation matters Management of subcontract orders, variations, and change control processes Preparation and valuation of interim and final account payments Subcontractor vetting, compliance checks, and reference verification Ensuring all contractual and compliance documentation is in place prior to appointment Requirements Third-level degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline 5+ years experience with a main contractor in Ireland xyswxtq or the UK Strong commercial and contractual awareness Experience on projects valued at €10m+ Excellent communication and negotiation skills Ability to manage multiple subcontract packages and deadlines Salary & Package €70k
