Job Description The Finance Manager role within the Schools Business Partnering team supports Planning and Business Partnering to support delivery of the University's financial plan. The role provides high-quality financial advice, builds trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, and delivers responsive management information. Acting as a key contributor to financially significant decisions, the postholder will demonstrate strong communication and influencing skills, credibility with senior leaders and the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.

Person Specification
Educated to degree level or have equivalent professional experience.
Substantial knowledge of higher education administration, governance, compliance and policy frameworks.
Experience in financial management and planning, stakeholder engagement, strategic planning and service delivery.
Excellent relationship-building, problem-solving and leadership capabilities.
Experience managing teams, contributing to policy development and overseeing budgets and financial planning in a complex environment.
