SCOPE OF POSITION Lead the day‑to‑day development operations of AFMC’s Salesforce system and integrations with the goal of improving departmental and corporate collaboration, workflow, efficiency, and effectiveness. Oversee various process and system enhancements, analyze business requirements, develop detailed documentation, assist in estimating project budgets, and lead development staff in planning and prioritizing project life cycles. Ensure services are implemented according to strategic directives, contract deliverables, personnel capacity, and fiduciary limits. As a team lead, monitor and guide staff in a positive direction, uphold AFMC’s mission, vision and values, and model leadership behaviors of honesty, excellence, accountability, respect, and teamwork.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Team Lead Functions
Direct and coach staff involved with Salesforce development.
Assist with the quality and accuracy of employees’ work product.
Assist with meeting designated deadlines while maintaining adherence to security requirements.
Assist staff in problem resolution and serve as a resource and mentor.
Train staff on job‑specific regulations and contract requirements.
Acquire deep knowledge of working systems and introduce efficient changes for better performance.
Analyze the adaptability of current operations.
Prepare periodic project‑specific reports and statistics as directed.
Salesforce Development Functions
Consult with constituents to gather information about needs and features to design new procedures or improve existing processes.
Assist in support and training for proper use of systems and related products.
Collect, evaluate, and reconcile data from multiple sources, resolve conflicts, and differentiate between actual and required user needs.
Use strong analytical reasoning to understand end‑user requirements and transform them into operational applications.
Document user requirements for logical process and data workflow for efficient operation.
Manage ongoing Salesforce and integration requests to ensure timely delivery of system enhancements, utilizing project‑management best practices.
DevOps Specialist Functions
Stay informed of new Salesforce and DevOps tool features and functionality.
Plan for and ensure testing has been performed ahead of each Salesforce release.
Ensure test environments are synced with production environments using DevOps tools.
Assist, train and lead team members on best practices in utilizing DevOps tools.
Other Functions
Make recommendations for enhancements and modifications to improve system performance, efficiency, internal business processes, and reporting.
Serve as AFMC representative at various external functions, as directed.
Maintain awareness of new trends and competitive developments within the industry.
Adhere to format, content, and style guidelines, ensuring accuracy, consistency, security, and quality.
Communicate effectively with internal and external clients.
Follow AFMC, state and federal protocols regarding data confidentiality, security, and HIPAA compliance.

Ability to work overtime and weekends, as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS Physical and Sensory Requirements Mobility, reaching, bending, lifting, grasping, ability to read and write, ability to communicate with personnel, ability to remain calm under stress, and ability to travel. Must be capable of performing essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
EDUCATION Required: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (1) or five (5) years of work experience in a related field may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree. Two or more Salesforce certifications, including Salesforce.com Certified Administrator (ADM201), are required.
EXPERIENCE
Four (4) years of Salesforce.com administration experience (including Service Cloud).
Three (3) years of experience implementing and configuring Salesforce.com for 50+ users.
One (1) year of leadership experience.
Intermediate proficiency with MS Office applications (including Microsoft Azure).
Advanced Excel proficiency (advanced formulas, macros, PowerQuery).
Experience using integrated applications such as Nintex DocGen, DocuSign, Gearset, Declarative Lookup Rollup Summaries, FindHelp, etc.
Experience with Salesforce.com architecture.
Experience with Lightning Experience usage and migration.
Knowledge and experience with contact center reporting.
Knowledge and experience with installed applications: Nintex DocGen, NICE InContact for Salesforce.
INTERNET REQUIREMENTS Reliable, high‑speed wireless internet service (Wi‑Fi).
