What You Bring to the Table
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a Data, Business Intelligence, or Analytics role, with a proven track record of leading advanced data analyses and providing actionable insights that inform strategic business decisions, and a demonstrated ability to develop impactful dashboards and reporting tools that drive business decision-making. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field. An advanced degree or certifications in data science, business analytics, or related areas is a plus. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Familiarity with data modeling, cleaning, and transformation best practices. Exposure to Python for data analysis, modeling & automation, analysis, and data pipeline optimization is preferred. Understanding of statistical concepts and techniques, including regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and forecasting is a plus. Comfortable balancing speed and accuracy while developing scalable reporting solutions. Experience with data cleaning, transformation, and analysis processes. Analytical Expertise: Expertise in interpreting complex data sets and delivering clear, actionable insights. Ability to manage large-scale data projects, identify emerging trends, and provide recommendations that drive significant business impact. Strong sense of ownership over data quality, structure, and reporting consistency. Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business strategy, financial modeling, and operational metrics. Ability to synthesize data into strategic recommendations that drive profitability, operational efficiency, and growth. As a matter of company policy, Wonder does not sponsor applicants for employment visa status for this role. Our hybrid model requires 3 days a week in the office. That said, many team members choose to come in more often to take advantage of in-person collaboration and connection. You're welcome—and encouraged—to be in the office up to 5 days a week if it works for you. New York: $128,000 per year Illinois: $115,000 per year Wonder uses geographic-specific salary structures, which means the salary offered may vary depending on where the job is located. The final salary offer will take into account various factors, such as the candidate's skills, education, training, credentials, and experience. We offer a competitive salary package including equity and 401K.
