- Work closely with support staff to maximise engagement and learning outcomes
- Support pupils to develop emotional regulation, resilience and positive behaviour
- Contribute to curriculum development and whole-school improvement priorities
- Build strong relationships with colleagues, families and external agencies
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety and compliance requirements are consistently met
- Play an active role within a collaborative, multi-professional team
This role is ideal for a teacher who is enthusiastic about inclusive education and committed to helping pupils with SEND thrive.
What you will bring:
- A relevant teaching qualification (e.g. QTS/PGCE or equivalent)
- Experience working within an education setting, ideally with pupils with SEND
- Proven ability to plan, deliver and adapt engaging lessons to meet individual needs
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to lead and coordinate effectively
- A collaborative approach and confidence working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, with a willingness to work towards further qualifications where required
- Willingness to undertake relevant induction and training on appointment
