Job Title
This role involves supporting the sales team post sale, managing customer inquiries, orders, and concerns in a courteous and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in customer service, particularly in a business-to-business environment, and will be responsible for maintaining excellent communication with customers and internal staff. Qualifications
Three to five years of business-to-business sales support, order entry, or customer service experience. Excellent customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in MS Office Suite and ERP software experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Manufacturing experience or customer service in a manufacturing environment is a plus. Commitment to excellence and high standards. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to log data efficiently and accurately. Understand and respond to a diversity of individuals. Work Environment
Fully onsite- Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm Responsibilities
Respond to and investigate customer inquiries, orders, concerns, and issues via phone, fax, mail, and email in a timely manner. Follow up and maintain good communication with customers at all times. Receive, record, and route customer orders or changes appropriately. Utilize the company's computer program for entering and processing orders. Research and resolve customer complaints and/or billing issues. Document all contacts, actions, and responses in the appropriate database. Organize and maintain the file system; file correspondence and other records. Maintain working knowledge of products and/or services. Prepare reports and correspondence accurately and efficiently. Communicate customer issues and concerns to applicable internal staff members. Provide appropriate technical and/or product-related information to customers. Follow up with production to ensure orders are processed and shipped in a timely manner. Handle customer grievances professionally and refer them to the manager when necessary. Provide support to outside sales representatives as needed. Provide RGAs to customers for product returns according to departmental procedure. Complete special projects as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Lincolnshire, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
