Sales Operations Analyst, AWS Enterprise Support Strategy & Operations (ESSO)Job ID: 10445997 | Amazon Web Services, Inc.AWS Enterprise Support Strategy & Operations (ESSO) is looking for a smart, experienced, and self‑directed Sales Operations Analyst with an experience working with sales and field organizations to provide visibility, insights, and operations that enable leaders to drive business performance, answer critical questions for decision making, run their business, and plan for the future. This position will be part of the team that leads Strategy and Operations for Strategic Industries and EMEA Business Development and Technical Account Manager field delivery teams.The candidate in this position will play a foundational role in supporting the stakeholder business strategy and operations through data analysis and operational reporting. The analyst will focus on core operational activities including standard reporting, data analysis, and owning day‑to‑day inspection and execution of operational processes. Regular cadence reports – weekly, monthly, and quarterly business metrics – will be generated and maintained for leadership. A critical aspect of the role involves conducting deep dives into business data to answer specific questions that enable Sales Operations Leads and sales leaders to make informed strategic decisions, as well as contributing to rhythm of business activities such as Monthly Business Reviews, quarterly/annual planning cycles, and ad‑hoc reporting requests.Other operational responsibilities include territory management, headcount allocation, goal setting, and support in developing and executing the operational strategy. This role offers significant learning and growth opportunities with broad exposure across strategy and operations, leadership, and functional partners.Key job responsibilitiesDevelop a deep understanding of sales, delivery, and business metrics, reporting tools, and data structure and serve as a subject‑matter expert on the team.Track and report all key performance indicators, goals, and trend analyses for weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews.Own regular analysis and inspection of key performance leading and lagging indicators, delivering insights to operations leaders and sales/delivery leaders to help see around corners and drive business growth and performance.Conduct analysis and deep dives to support Business Development and Delivery team strategy, planning, and key decision making.Support regular inspection of sales pipeline, pipeline health, and forecasting reviews.Own the day‑to‑day execution of selected key field operational activities, such as territory management, headcount allocation, and goal setting.Leverage AWS GenAI capabilities to scale and augment insights and enablement to improve visibility and productivity across multiple user personas through AI apps and agents.Own or contribute to analytical building projects, such as creating a global pipeline management mechanism, refining forecasting models and methodologies, and refining reporting and management systems for new delivery models and stakeholder organization structures.Collaborate with multiple internal customers, stakeholders, and partner groups across the ESSO team, sales, Enterprise Support leadership, product, and others.Basic Qualifications3+ years of relevant professional experience in analytics and/or operations.Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Experience working in a sales organization and with sales data, processes, and policies.Experience in business analysis and functional roles requiring quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills.Experience with Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots) and data visualization tools such as Tableau.Experience using sales tools including Salesforce, and BI tools including QuickSight and PowerBI.Preferred QualificationsExperience in advanced SQL and ability to write complex queries from scratch across multiple tables.Experience using AI business tools to build agents and apps.Experience using big data analytics techniques.The base salary range for this position is 75,400.00 - 132,000.00 USD annually. The package includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
