Key Responsibilities As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will: Conduct assessments, diagnosis, and develop treatment/intervention programs for service users according to professional standards.
Communicate assessment results and recommendations to service users and relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate with patients, families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans.
Maintain detailed clinical notes and documentation in line with departmental standards.
Provide support and guidance on communication, feeding, eating, drinking, and swallowing disorders.
Participate in case conferences, ward rounds, and team meetings as required.
Ensure professional standards, confidentiality, and ethics are maintained in all interactions.
Engage in health promotion activities and comply with the CORU code of conduct.
Contribute to the development of policies and procedures while adhering to current standards.
Essential Requirements BSc or MSc in Clinical Speech and Language Studies CORU Registration is mandatory.
