Direct client: Salesforce Business Analyst, Columbus, OH
Position is remote; but travel to Columbus is required as needed for on-site meetings.
First round interviews will be via TEAMS. If candidate is local, second round may be in person at Rhodes Tower in Columbus.
Job Description
Act as an Agile Scrum Master to keep project teams on track, ensure sprint deliverables are completed, and facilitate planning and execution of future sprints.
Support the design, development, and enhancement of internal Salesforce applications for business users.
Utilize wireframes, screen mock-ups, and prototypes to help stakeholders and development teams visualize requirements and proposed solutions.
Conduct interviews and workshops with business users to understand current processes, product usage, challenges, and business needs.
Create and manage user stories, acceptance criteria, and product backlog items.
Collaborate with UI/UX Designers, Developers, Application Architects, and Data Architects to define and document product features and technical requirements.
Coordinate product demonstrations and gather stakeholder feedback to drive continuous product improvements.
Lead business process analysis, process flow mapping, and process redesign initiatives.
Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and document functional and non-functional requirements, workflows, business rules, and process diagrams.
Maintain requirements traceability and manage change requests throughout the project lifecycle.
Create, maintain, and update project deliverables, business documentation, technical specifications, and project artifacts.
Work closely with Architects, Developers, QA teams, and Project Managers to define testing strategies and ensure quality deliverables.
Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, test plans, and testing procedures.
Perform Quality Assurance (QA) testing and validate application functionality against documented requirements.
Assist project teams with troubleshooting issues, identifying root causes, and recommending solutions.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies and best practices.
Support application integrations with internal and external systems and participate in integration testing activities.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of Business Analyst experience in a structured software development environment.
3+ years of Quality Assurance (QA) testing experience in a structured software development environment.
2+ years of Agile software development experience.
Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Strong experience with requirements gathering, documentation, analysis, and management.
Experience creating user stories, workflows, process diagrams, and business process documentation.
Experience developing and executing test plans, test cases, and QA testing activities.
Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies and software testing principles.
Experience working with application integrations and external/internal system interfaces.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce Certified Business Analyst.
Experience working on Salesforce platform projects.
Experience supporting Agile Scrum teams and Salesforce application implementations.
