3 7 days per month (ongoing)
Setting:
Inpatient only,
STEMI / EMTALA call
No clinic or ambulatory work
Team Structure:
Two full-time Interventional Cardiologists on staff, with another Interventionalist present during locum coverage
Patient Population:
Adults
EMR:
Epic (Cupid)
Core Interventional Procedures
Balloon Angioplasty
Coronary Angioplasty
PCI Percutaneous Coronary Intervention
Heart Catheterization
Coronary Angiograms
General Cardiology Responsibilities
Respond to
all cardiology calls
for the hospital
General Cardiology consults as needed
Read
EKGs, ECHOs, and Stress Tests
(including nuclear stress)
Requirements
Board Certified Required
Active KY license & DEA Required IMLC candidates considered with consistent 3 7 days/month availability
ACLS Required
COVID Vaccination Preferred
