What You ll Do
Evaluate patients functional status through formal and informal assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans following physician directives Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment options, and prognosis Supervise Occupational Therapist Assistants, aides, and students Recommend adaptive/supportive equipment and coordinate with suppliers Document patient progress and response to treatment for billing and regulatory compliance Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes Promote occupational therapy services within the community and healthcare system What You Need
Valid occupational therapy license in Michigan Minimum of 1 year of related experience (preferred but not required) Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and mobility on the job Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and healthcare documentation practices About the Assignment This outpatient occupational therapy role is within a well-regarded healthcare facility committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
