fully remote
position.
Compensation:
Competitive annual salary:
$150,000-$200,000
(based on experience).

Role Overview: Join a fast-growing
SaaS Fintech start-up , backed by over $5 million in recent investments, as a
Staff Platform/Backend Engineer . This role focuses on
core backend development (70-80%)
while contributing to
platform engineering
tasks such as CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes cluster management, and performance optimization. Its an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
Qualifications:
Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience :
8+ years
of software engineering experience with strong proficiency in
Python
and
Django .
Hands-on
DevOps and containerization
experience with
AWS ,
Docker , and
Kubernetes .
Proven experience working in
start-up environments
(VC funding, teams
Ability to balance responsibilities across
Backend Engineering (80%)
and
DevOps/Platform tasks (20%) .
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement backend features and integrations using
Python
and
Django .
Design, build, and maintain
CI/CD pipelines
for efficient and reliable deployments.
Conduct performance testing and system optimization.
Enhance monitoring systems and ensure the health of
Kubernetes clusters .
Participate in rotational
on-call support
for platform reliability.
