About
Applicants must have a minimum of one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band NH‑02 (or GS‑11). Specialized experience must demonstrate leadership in the implementation of information technology cybersecurity operations (e.g., network accreditation, network management, cybersecurity management) to support organizational goals.
Required skills include:
Attention to detail – Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risk, and protection needs.
Customer service – Apply information systems security principles, policies, and procedures to ensure reliability and accessibility of systems, networks, and data.
Oral communication – Provide expert technical advice, guidance, and recommendations to management and technical specialists on critical IT issues.
Problem solving – Identify conflicting system interface problems and develop solutions.
