Sales Support Specialist

If you're a customer-focused professional who enjoys solving problems and supporting sales growth, we invite you to join our team as a Sales Support Specialist. In this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting our customers and sales team while helping drive business growth. You'll build strong relationships, ensure seamless order processing, and provide responsive, knowledgeable service that positions UUS as a trusted partner. Key responsibilities include: Accurately process customer orders and identify needs to ensure complete satisfaction Prepare timely and accurate quotes for customer requests Partner with the outside sales team to support and grow customer accounts Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, availability, pricing, delivery timelines, and returns Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers on shipments, pricing, and issue resolution Maintain detailed and organized customer records, including order updates and follow-ups Proactively identify solutions to customer challenges and support long-term relationship building We're seeking a motivated, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering excellent service. Qualifications: 2+ years of inside or outside sales experience Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to manage and resolve customer concerns Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based business systems Valid driver's license with ability to travel occasionally (up to 5%) Flexibility to work additional hours when needed (e.g., during weather-related emergencies) Postsecondary education preferred We offer a competitive compensation package and a supportive work environment where your contributions make a difference.
