About

Business Development Executive We are currently seeking an ambitious and commercially focused Business Development Executive to support the continued growth of our Facilities Management division across Ireland. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience selling service-based solutions within the Facilities Management, Security, or Cleaning sectors and will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and developing a robust sales pipeline. The position is nationwide in scope, with the majority of activity focused within the Leinster region Reports To:Commercial Manager Salary & Benefits €55,000 base salary Uncapped commission structure Career progression opportunities Dublin 15 with nationwide travel required, predominantly across the Leinster region. Company phone and laptop Travel expenses / allowance 37 hours per week Monday Thursday: 9:00am 5:00pm Friday: 9:00am 4:30pm Key Responsibilities Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across the Facilities Management, Security, and Cleaning sectors Generate high-quality leads through networking, research, referrals, and outbound sales activity Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients aligned with commercial growth targets Develop relationships with key decision-makers across commercial, industrial, retail, healthcare, and property sectors Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits Prepare tailored proposals, presentations, and tender submissions Work closely with the Commercial Manager and operational teams to ensure successful onboarding of new clients Maintain accurate records of sales activity, opportunities, and pipeline progression within the CRM system Produce regular reports on pipeline performance, sales activity, and revenue generation Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, procurement frameworks, and industry developments Skills & Experience Minimum 2 years experience in a Business Development or Field Sales role. Must have a hunter mentality. Proven experience selling services within Facilities Management, Security, Cleaning, or related service industries Strong understanding of FM operating models including TFM, IFM, and bundled service solutions Demonstrated ability to generate new business and manage the sales cycle Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Highly motivated, organised, and target-driven Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms Full clean driving licence Flexibility to travel nationwide as required Desirable Experience Experience in B2B solution selling Knowledge of tendering processes and FM procurement cycles Existing network within the Irish FM, Security, or Property sectors For more information please apply through the link provided for the attention of David McCoy or email David at call Osborne Recruitment on If you are interested in finding out more about the above role and would like to be considered other suitable roles that we may have available for your skill set please attach your CV via the link provided.
