Schedule 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Some procedures may run until 4:30 PM EST. No on-call or weekend shifts. Job Description The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform advanced nuclear cardiology studies (SPECT, SPECT/CT, PET/CT) with precision and clinical expertise. The role includes delivering compassionate, patient-centered care by explaining procedures, ensuring comfort, and maintaining safety at all times. ResponsibilitiesAcquire and process diagnostic images. Perform daily quality control and maintain radio pharmacy operations while adhering to NYSDOH guidelines. Manage and document patient data in the eRecord CUPID system, ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards. Partner with the Director of Nuclear Cardiology and colleagues to implement new technologies and enhance lab protocols. Perform SPECT blood flow studies, cardiac amyloidosis tests, and hybrid SPECT resting studies followed by PET sarcoid or viability studies. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience. 6 months of Cardiac Imaging experience. NYS Rad Tech License. NMTCB or ARRT(N) preferred.
