Job Summary "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Acute Care Occupational Therapist to provide rehabilitation services in a short-term acute care and Level III trauma hospital. The OT will manage patient recovery, functional mobility, and discharge planning while working in a collaborative inpatient environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform occupational therapy evaluations and treatment planning Provide acute care rehabilitation services to hospitalized patients Manage daily caseload of approximately 8-9 patients per day Float between hospital units as needed Support patient mobility, ADLs, and functional independence Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehab teams Document care accurately in EPIC system Assist with discharge planning and continuity of care Maintain patient safety and infection control compliance
Required Qualifications
Active Washington State OT License (IN HAND REQUIRED) Minimum 1 year acute care OT experience (hard requirement) Inpatient Rehab experience preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in fast-paced hospital setting EPIC experience preferred
