What you'll be doing
In this busy and engaging role as QA Supervisor, you will play a key part in protecting product integrity and driving continuous improvement across site operations. You'll lead and motivate the QA team to monitor product quality, processing systems, and factory practices, ensuring agreed standards are consistently met and improved.
You will help embed a strong quality and food safety culture across the site, championing best practice and supporting compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
Role Accountabilities
• Lead and motivate the QA team, managing audits, rotas, and resource planning • Ensure compliance with customer Codes of Practice, Greencore standards, and site audit requirements • Drive continuous improvement by closing out non-conformances and trending issues to deliver long-term solutions • Oversee product and ingredient checks against specifications, investigating root causes where required • Promote and embed a strong quality and food safety culture across site operations • Coordinate QA input for product launches and support delivery of technical KPIs • Train, support, and develop the QA team through clear communication and development plans • Operate safely at all times, prioritising health, safety, and environmental improvements

• Sound understanding of food manufacturing processes, raw materials, and site equipment • Strong knowledge of food safety and quality systems within a manufacturing environment • Confidence leading, motivating, and developing QA teams • Ability to manage audits, non-conformances, and continuous improvement activity • Clear and effective communication skills across all levels of the business • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail • Ability to work collaboratively with operations, procurement, and technical teams • Commitment to upholding high standards of quality, safety, and compliance
