Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Epic experience is required.

• Experience with McKesson is required.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Kentucky and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Kentucky.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: Rotablader / venous access required. Rhythm interpretation required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience with Philips Single and Bi Plane Angiography preferred. Children’s Hospital, IV start, phlebotomy, coil embolization, peripheral procedures, inpatient, outpatient, and pacemaker experience preferred.

Required Credentials: EKG onboarding exam required. Cath Lab Tech competency exam and CORE allied exams required.

Unit Details: Neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population. Interventional, structural, pediatric, congenital, ECMO, heart failure, transplant, Impella, IABP, TAVR, Watchman, PCI, and multiple devices.

Special Requests: If you want to take 4-7 days off, you must be willing to make up that time. You must fulfill the full 13 week contract.

Shift & Scheduling: On-call: 1 late call per week (5:30p-7:30p), 1 call shift per week (5:30p-7:00a), and 1-2 call weekends per 6 week schedule (weekend is Friday, 5:30p - Monday, 7:00a).

Details:

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 07/04/2026, 09/07/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027, 01/18/2027, 05/31/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
