Our affiliate, Unified Women's Healthcare of North Carolina, is looking for an Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to join their prestigious Women's Health Care Center in Hickory, NC. Join a compassionate group who provide a team approach to patient care. Every member of our staff is focused on making the patient experience in our office individualized and meaningful. About the Practice:
The practice is a large group that consists of 7 Physicians working as OB/GYN's and 1 Gynecologist. In addition, the practice has a large support staff of 5 nurse practitioners and 4 certified nurse midwives. This well-established practice has been serving the Hickory Area for almost 50 years and has built up a solid reputation for excellent patient care. Deliveries are performed at Catawba Valley Medical Center which the large health system in the area. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join an established practice with a large physician and staff team in a small-town environment that allows for an excellent work/life balance.
Practice Highlights:
- Top notch physician team of 8 physicians
- The practice offers comprehensive women's healthcare including large range of Gynecological and Obstetrics services. Deliveries and surgical procedures are performed at Catawba Valley Medical Center
- Catawba Valley Medical Center has a Level III NICU Unit, robotics for specialized GYN surgeries and women's health subspecialists
- Large advanced practice provider to assist - 5 Nurse Practitioners and 4 Certified Nurse Midwives
- Practice has built up a strong patient base from working in the community for over 50 years
- Patient Census: 20/daily per OB-GYN
- Collegial environment that focuses on patient care and staff growth. Excellent mentorship available to physicians coming out of residency
- Strong balance of both OB and GYN. Will perform several deliveries and major GYN surgeries every month
