The IS Change Manager is responsible for overseeing and governing the entire change management lifecycle across IT systems, ensuring all modifications are assessed, approved, and implemented with minimal disruption to business operations. This role leads the Change Advisory Board (CAB), coordinates scheduling and prioritization of changes, and enforces adherence to ITIL-aligned processes, policies, and best practices.
The incumbent will evaluate change requests for completeness, risk, and business impact; maintain the enterprise change calendar to prevent conflicts; and monitor metrics to assess success rates and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Collaboration with project management, release management, and service transition teams is key to ensuring smooth implementations and effective post-change reviews.
The IS Change Manager acts as a liaison between IT and business stakeholders, providing guidance, training, and communication regarding upcoming changes and their potential impacts. This position plays a critical role in strengthening operational stability, reducing change-related incidents, and driving continuous process maturity within the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline OR several years of experience in a related field

Change Management certification, an asset
Experience
In change, release, and configuration management processes
In managing change efforts and activities
In drafting, applying and interpreting policies and procedures
In change management tools and Information Technology Service Manager (ITSM) platforms
In designing and developing communications
In implementing IT changes
In Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
In leading multi-disciplinary teams
