Assistant Restaurant Manager

The Assistant Restaurant Manager at Puckett's in the Nashville Airport plays a key leadership role in supporting daily restaurant operations inside a fast-paced airport environment. This position is hands-on, floor-focused, and centered on delivering authentic Southern hospitality while ensuring smooth service, strong team performance, and consistent operational standards.

• Support the Restaurant Manager with daily operations and shift execution.
• Lead by example with a strong hospitality-first mindset.
• Help coach, train, and motivate team members.
• Reinforce accountability, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Assist with pre-shift meetings and team alignment.

• Deliver warm, genuine Southern hospitality to every guest.
• Handle guest concerns quickly and professionally.

• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Support smooth floor flow, staffing, and service execution.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards.
• Maintain food quality, presentation, and portion control.
• Follow all airport compliance and security requirements.

• Assist with scheduling, labor, and shift support as needed.
• Help manage waste, product handling, and upselling efforts.
• Communicate operational updates and concerns to management.
• Support onboarding, training, and company standards (AHA & SLA).
• Ensure compliance with company, TSA, and airport regulations.

• 13 years of restaurant leadership or supervisory experience (airport or high-volume preferred).
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and operational reporting.
• Flexible availability including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must pass airport background check and obtain required security badge.
