Role Purpose
The Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing projects, programmes, and project teams to ensure agreed objectives are delivered within time, cost, quality, and scope constraints. The role plays a critical part in project governance, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and benefits realisation.
The post holder will lead project delivery activities of increasing complexity and scale, ranging from individual work packages and small projects through to large, high-profile programmes and portfolios. At higher grades, the role includes leadership of organisational change, management of strategic stakeholder relationships, supplier and contract management, and line management responsibilities.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential
Experience of delivering projects in a structured project management environment. Strong planning, organisational, and prioritisation skills. Experience of stakeholder engagement and relationship management. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to analyse information, solve problems, and make sound decisions. Experience of risk, issue, and change management. Experience managing budgets, schedules, and resources.
