Sales Manager Reports to: General Manager
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Cedar Park, TX
Summary The Sales Manager is responsible for leading & managing the sales team to achieve organizational goals and revenue targets. This role involves developing strategic sales plans, overseeing day-to-day team operations, building & maintaining client relationships, and analyzing sales performance to drive continuous improvement. The Sales Manager plays a key role in expanding the customer base, maximizing market opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction while fostering a high-performance & goal-oriented sales culture. This role will be instrumental in building and leading sales practices across our Family of Brands™ with a centralized approach built to scale across our current brands and future portfolio of brands.
Duties and Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Representatives to meet and exceed individual and team sales goals.
Conduct regular one-on-one performance reviews, ride‑along coaching with reps and coaching sessions to strengthen sales execution and communication skills.
Foster a competitive, collaborative, and high‑performance culture grounded in accountability and professionalism.
Sales Performance & Accountability
Achieve or exceed team revenue, gross profit, and close‑rate targets.
Track daily sales activity, pipeline health, and conversion metrics.
Implement and manage sales process adherence — from lead follow‑up to estimate presentation and close.
Monitor team pricing consistency, financing offers, and upsell/cross‑sell performance.
Review estimates and proposals for accuracy, margin protection, and value communication.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts and weekly reporting to leadership.
Customer Experience
Ensure all customer interactions reflect the company’s brand standards of professionalism and integrity.
Support the team in resolving escalated customer concerns in a professional, timely manner.
Monitor reviews and feedback to identify trends and drive continuous improvement in service quality.
Partner with installation and service departments to ensure smooth handoffs from sale to fulfillment.
Training & Development
Lead ongoing training in product knowledge, financing options, sales psychology, and objection handling.
Facilitate weekly sales meetings focused on performance metrics, challenges, and success stories.
Identify performance gaps and implement individual development plans for underperforming reps.
Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, product innovations, and competitor offerings.
Marketing & Business Development
Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales initiatives with lead‑generation campaigns, seasonal promotions, and brand strategy.
Provide feedback from the field on campaign quality, lead performance, and customer insights.
Attend and represent the company at local trade shows, home improvement expos, and community networking events to increase visibility and generate new sales opportunities.
Build and maintain relationships with local builders, HOAs, real estate professionals, and other referral sources to expand the company’s footprint.
Identify emerging market trends and competitor activity to help guide marketing and sales strategy.
Operational Collaboration
Work closely with marketing to align lead generation efforts and maximize campaign ROI.
Partner with operations and scheduling teams to ensure installs are completed efficiently and profitably.
Collaborate with finance to maintain healthy margins and accurate reporting.
Provide leadership input into pricing strategy, promotions, and regional market opportunities.

Qualifications
Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar leadership role
Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience, with a track record of exceeding sales targets and growing client accounts.
Strong understanding of sales principles, customer service, and market dynamics.
Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office Suite
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
Demonstrated ability to manage cross‑functional projects and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Any sales certifications
Prior experience in a field service, construction, building products, or related B2C service industry.
Work Conditions
Climate‑controlled office environment with continual sitting & use of computer.
Exposure to weather and temperature elements while performing job site checks.
