Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive litigation support from case initiation through resolution and trial. Prepare, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, notices, subpoenas, and discovery materials. Oversee document management, productions, and discovery coordination. Analyze and organize case-related records, contracts, reports, and supporting documentation. Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, expert witnesses, and trial logistics. Track case deadlines, court schedules, and litigation calendars. Communicate professionally with clients, experts, opposing counsel, vendors, and court personnel. Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit management, witness preparation, trial binders, and courtroom support. Maintain accurate and well-organized case files while ensuring compliance with court procedures and deadlines. Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm setting. Background supporting construction litigation, construction defect, insurance defense, or other complex civil litigation matters. Strong understanding of Florida state and federal court procedures and e-filing requirements. Ability to independently manage multiple active matters and competing deadlines. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
