MARKET MANAGER

Develop and maintain order controls for the department

Responsible for gross margin controls

Responsible for evaluating department and problem solving

Handles or assists in special bookings and orders of promotional and seasonal items

Trains personnel in the areas of product knowledge and presentation

Acts to ensure that all guaranteed pricing of ad items or special sale items are received

Develops customer relationships and confidence through proper employee training

Responsible for required inventory turn within the dept.

Exercises technical knowledge when product integrity is in question

Assists in special in-store promotions as needed

Insures performance level requirements (productivity)

Insures that controllable expenses are within the required level

Responsible for APC (ad profit controls)

Responsible for the training and coordination of all daily duties of other met department employees either personally or by making sure tech help is provided
