About
What You'll Do
Work closely with Staff/Senior Network Engineers on design and initiatives
Work closely with Palo Alto Engineering teams and Construction and Facilities on initiatives
Maintain current network systems within workplace and R&D sites
Collaborate with workplace team on development network or electrical components and/or services to meet their needs
Function as a Tier 1-2 escalation point
Provision, implement, test/validate, and maintain networking services per solution design
Monitor, analyze, and report metrics of network services
Document network knowledgebase and operational "Run-Book"
Must be able to work occasional weekends, after hours, and holidays
Participate in on call rotation and 10% travel required as necessary
What You'll Bring
8+ years of experience in deploying and operating large global enterprise networking infrastructure
Extensive experience in IP networking, L2/L3 network protocols (spanning-tree, OSPF, BGP), TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, end to end QOS, VLAN, VRRP, LACP, MC-LAG, EVPN with VXLAN, ACL, NAC, and infrastructure cabling
Extensive experience in a multi-vendor environment including Juniper, Arista, and Cisco
Extensive experience with Juniper SRX, Palo Alto Networks, and Fortinet firewall services including IPSEC VPN, URL filtering, and IDS/IPS
Experience with various tools such as Protocol Analyzer, SNMP, Netflow, IPAM, RADIUS, Splunk, network taps, and load/stress testing
Proficiency with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, or similar)
Preferred CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
A track record of successful collaboration with multidisciplinary teams

Expected Compensation $168,000 - $300,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
