Amazon is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join a cross‑platform, customer‑obsessed team working to build best‑in‑class consumer products. Responsibilities
Be responsible for development of new features for embedded systems
Investigate, prototype and deliver new and innovative system solutions
Design, develop and verify firmware for embedded systems
Participate in design reviews, API development, and documentation
Work with new technologies that are vital to product development
Deliver investigation plans and reports, architectural documents, design specs, software and firmware source code, build scripts
Perform tasks including debugging, bring‑up, beta and production software development
Successfully collaborate with both software and hardware product teams
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience
5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems (design patterns, reliability and scaling)
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is USD 193,300–261,500 annually.
