About
itD is seeking a Data Analyst IV (Product Lifecycle Management Analyst) to support product lifecycle operations for cutting‑edge AR/VR technologies within Reality Labs. This role will play a critical part in managing product data, engineering changes, part creation, and product configurations throughout the product lifecycle—from concept and prototype through production and end‑of‑life. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), engineering change management, and product data governance, along with a proven track record of supporting complex hardware product development in fast‑paced, high‑tech environments.
Location: Onsite – Sunnyvale, CA
Duration: 12 Months (Potential for Extension and/or Conversion)

Responsibilities
Create and maintain manufacturer, vendor, and business part numbers within the PLM system while ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
Manage product data throughout the product lifecycle, including concept, prototype, new product introduction (NPI), and sustaining activities.
Create and release complex Bills of Materials (BOMs) for electronic, mechanical, and system‑level products based on engineering and manufacturing requirements.
Initiate, track, and manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), deviations, stop ships, and non‑revision changes.
Partner cross‑functionally with Engineering, Program Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Logistics teams to support product configuration and material planning requirements.
Support prototype builds, asset tracking, and product documentation efforts by maintaining accurate part and configuration data.
Provide end‑user support, troubleshoot PLM‑related issues, and advise stakeholders on best practices for product documentation and change management.
Internal Responsibilities
Attend regular internal practice community meetings.
Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.
Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material).
Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.
Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual).
Work with leadership on career fast‑track opportunities.
Required Qualifications and Skills
5+ years of experience in a high‑tech, fast‑paced environment utilizing Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
Hands‑on experience with Part Creation and Product Data Management.
Strong experience managing Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), deviations, and change control processes.
Experience creating and maintaining Approved Manufacturer Lists (AMLs).
Experience creating and releasing complex Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Experience working cross‑functionally with Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Program Management teams.
Strong understanding of product lifecycle processes from concept through production and end‑of‑life.
Experience with Siemens Teamcenter, Agile PLM, Arena PLM, or similar PLM platforms.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Experience with Siemens Teamcenter.
NX experience.
Experience supporting hardware product development, consumer electronics, AR/VR, or related technology products.
Familiarity with manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain operations.
Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) programs.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience required.
