Louth The Opportunity An established main contractor is seeking an experiencedSite Engineer to join the delivery team on a large-scale RC Frame apartment development in Dundalk, Co.
Louth.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong background in reinforced concrete frame construction who is looking to work on a high-profile residential project.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of the structural frame and associated works, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy, quality, and safety throughout the construction process.
Key Responsibilities Carry out accurate setting out for RC frame structures, foundations, columns, walls, cores, slabs, and associated structural elements.
Oversee day-to-day engineering activities on site, ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings and specifications.
Coordinate with site management, subcontractors, and design teams to ensure efficient project delivery.
Monitor quality control throughout all phases of construction and ensure compliance with project specifications and Irish Building Regulations.
Assist with the planning and sequencing of RC frame works to maintain programme targets.
Prepare and maintain accurate site records, surveys, as-built information, and technical documentation.
Identify and resolve engineering and construction issues as they arise.
Promote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance on site.
Requirements Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
Proven experience as a Site Engineer on RC Frame apartment or multi-storey residential developments.
Strong setting out experience usingLeica orTrimble Total Stations.
Excellent understanding of reinforced concrete construction methods and structural sequencing.
Practical experience working on construction projects within Ireland.
Strong knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and construction best practices.
Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced site environment while managing multiple priorities.
