DesignBuild Search are working with a leading civil contractor who continue to expand throughout Ireland and internationally. Due to ongoing projects in Cork, they have an opening for a junior mechanical Engineer. Previous experience with a Mechanical contractor or design consultancy. Projects: Urban, Roads, Bridges Specific Requirements Minimum 1-2 years mechanical engineering experience Relevant Third level qualification in Building Services / Mechanical Engineering. 1-2+ years experience with a contractor or consultancy Excellent IT skills knowledge of Revit/BIM, Microsoft Key responsibilities: Undertaking all aspects of building services, working on a wide variety of modern plant, equipment and systems controlled by HVAC. Ensuring design, installation, and commissioning of complex M&E packages. Ensure implementation of the MEP deliverables on the project. Ensure all MEP works are carried out to the highest level of safety. Inspect all installation works against the agreed level of the approved quality plan. Monitor programmes & review installation progress of MEP services. Work collaboratively with the design team, MEP subcontractors, and the wider project team.
