Job Description Our client, a local IT company, is seeking a hybrid W2 contract Project Manager to manage a team of functional, technical, software development, and operations lead. Previous software development experience strongly preferred. This position requires residence on Oahu and on-site work. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for managing complex technical projects from planning to implementation, collaborating with internal senior leadership, building and managing client relations, managing project teams, and other duties as required. Responsibilities Manage project milestones, budget and resources, track project schedules and provide project status reports for multiple and/or complex projects. Facilitate meetings and communicates effectively with cross-functional teams. Develop and maintain project documentation addressing project scope, deliverables, project plans, cost tracking, resources, and status reports. Manage project stakeholders, coordinate activities and ensure effective communication within project teams. Facilitate project scoping and manage project budgets. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in an IT related area of study. At least 7 years of technical project managing large and/or complex projects. Experience in Agile, Waterfall, or Iterative principles. PMP Certification strongly preferred. People management experience. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Proven success in leading and building teams comprised of technical and non-technical staff. Strong knowledge in use of portfolio and project management tools. Excellent verbal and writing communication skills, ability to present and explain technical information to establish rapport with stakeholders and team members.
