About
Support accreditation activity efforts by coordinating with Koa Lani IT Department, PMRF C-ISSM/C-ISSO, ISO and other Government personnel. Monitor and coordinate implementation of IAVM, patches, STIG, and other security controls.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction.
Support all ISSO duties and responsibilities in DODI 8500.01, DODI 8510.01, and U.S. Navy Policy.
Support all activities related to NIST RMF Assessment & Authorization (A&A) Process and other policies for the administration and safeguarding of U.S. and foreign Government classified and unclassified information as it pertains to networks, standalone computer systems, and data encryption.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Office conditions are varied and include physical tasks such as lifting, pushing or pulling over 10–25 pounds. Physical positions will include walking, standing or sitting for extended periods of time and may require repeated stooping and climbing.
REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION
High School or equivalent (Completion of high school courses in computer science, information technology, or cybersecurity).
DoD 8570/8140: IAM I
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft applications.
Information Technology experience.
Ability to learn technical procedures and concepts.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Secret security clearance is required. Applicants selected must either currently possess a Secret clearance or will be subject to a government security investigation to obtain clearance prior to commencement of employment and must maintain clearance throughout the duration of employment.
