Offaly (+20% European Travel) An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Laboratory Services Manager to lead and develop laboratory operations across two European sites within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
This strategic leadership role combines technical expertise, commercial awareness, quality management, and people leadership.
You will be responsible for enhancing laboratory capabilities, driving business growth, overseeing validation services, and leading accreditation activities across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities Lead and develop multi-site laboratory teams, ensuring effective resource planning and performance management.
Drive ISO 17025 accreditation activities, maintaining compliance and audit readiness across laboratory operations.
Oversee validation testing, method development, laboratory documentation, and technical reporting.
Partner with customers to understand testing requirements, prepare quotations, support project delivery, and promote laboratory services.
Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement, new testing capabilities, and laboratory investment projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product development, process validation, and technical problem-solving.
About You Degree qualified in Materials Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
Strong experience within regulated industries such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, packaging, or process manufacturing.
Proven knowledge of ISO 17025 and validation methodologies.
Experience with product/process validation, quality systems, and statistical analysis tools.
Demonstrated success managing teams across multiple locations.
Commercially minded with strong customer-facing and business development capabilities.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills. xyswxtq
